My approach to working with addictions and compulsive behaviors is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and understanding rather than judgment or control. While I don’t specialize in treating substance addictions like drugs or alcohol, I do work with people who feel caught in patterns such as overworking, striving for achievement, seeking approval or status, gaming, gambling, numbing, or shopping. Using Internal Family Systems therapy, I help people understand the parts of themselves driving these behaviors, often protective parts trying to manage pain, stress, or deeper emotional wounds.
