I offer counseling for alcohol and substance abuse/dependency. I work with individuals to understand their addiction and identify triggers to prevent relapse. I want my clients to feel empowered and back in control of their lives; therefore you will learn specific skillset that will help you take back that control. The most common approach I use is cognitive behavior therapy (CBT); where you will learn how to identify your moods, situations, and thoughts that cause cravings. We will work together to counter these triggers with healthy coping skills. I strive to create an environment where you will feel safe and comfortable to work through your emotional struggles.

When someone comes into our office struggling with out-of-control sexual behaviors. We assess for comorbid conditions and diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, or bipolar disorder, to name a few. We don’t fixate on the sexual behavior, and we encourage the client to consider their own values about their sexuality. We approach our work from a strength-based and sex positive position and not from one defined from pathology and disease. Further, our clinicians honor and respect the values and beliefs of the client and refrain from ever imposing our beliefs and views on the client.
