Struggles with managing anger are a lot more common than most people realize. Unfortunately, many people feel the struggles are unchangeable, chalking it up to "that's just how I am". I start out with listening and understanding exactly what my clients struggle with and how they would like it to be different. Then we develop a plan to move from point A to point B. We will address physical, emotional/psychological, social, and spiritual factors to help you understand your anger profile. We will develop practical coping skills to address each of the factors and celebrate each step of improvement together. Its rewarding to hear clients report improved relationships as they progress.

Coping with anger can be very difficult at times because its one of the easiest defenses we use when faced with challenges and frustrations. My goal is to get you to begin to understand the thinking, feeling, doing connections of anger, and how it is really affecting aspects of your life. Replacing some of the negative behaviors associated with anger, with more positive behaviors and methods of coping will guide more empowering thought processes.
