Susan teaches her clients a wide range of strategies for calming anxiety. It's important to have a full "tool bag" as no one technique will be appropriate for every situation. Breathing techniques, cognitive strategies, meditation, relaxation techniques, E.M.D.R., N.E.T., and energy tapping can all be very helpful. Susan supports the use of medication or herbal or amino acid support that targets the gaba receptors of the brain. Susan will also help you to explore the roots of your anxiety. There may be a core fear or the anxiety may serve as a "red herring," distracting you away from other painful issues that need to be explored.
