While I am not a Vocational Counselor, most of the individuals with whom I've worked to provide career type counseling did not need vocational testing to select a career. What they did need was a place to brainstorm ideas about a career move or an occupation change, someone to provide coaching about how to answer interview questions, complete a resume, and get on all the social media sites, such as Linkedin. Someone to help them sort out fears, emotional processes, or other people, that may be holding them back from moving forward. Any of us can get in a comfortable rut and remain stagnant and unhappy.
