In our career counseling sessions, we'll take a holistic approach, exploring your skills, interests, and values to help you make informed decisions. I help clients with addictive behaviours or substance use that is interfering with their ability to achieve a fulfilling career. Through collaborative conversations, clients gain a sense of purpose and direction, overcoming barriers to making meaningful progress in their professional life. Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.

To incorporate an SFBT approach to help clients identify their own resiliency from a strength based perspective. To use positive psychology language and focus on solution when clients may be wanting to explore other careers or feel stuck in their current one. To assist clients remember and identify past adversities and their history of overcoming situational challenges.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks. I offer coaching for those motivated to move into this place.
