I offer return to work and employment support specific to people who have concussion and brain injury. This is a specialty area that my Certified Brain Injury Specialist designation allows me to provide. I also offer return to school support and education support for this group of people. Struggling with brain injury or persistent concussion symptoms can make school and work daunting and my approach to allow you to explore outcomes of brain injury, build resiliency and develop new coping skills, will make it possible.

My approach to career counselling and planning is taken from the now famous resource Designing Your Life. We apply Design Thinking to reframe obstacles to opportunities in creative ways that may be impossible to imagine now. Then we design plans to give you the inspiration and practical experiences that prove what career decision will bring you the greatest happiness, fulfillment, and reward.

I am very flexible and open to supporting individuals and couples in exploring career opportunities. If you feel stuck in your current situation, unsure of what career to choose or wanting to enhance your workplace environment. I will assist the client in reaching occupational goals, which may change over time. Goals are set by the client in collaboration with me

Career Counselling requires a counsellor who has had a lot of personal life experience in a variety of diverse areas. This is the counsellor that I am. I realize how important it is to find the right career whether you are just starting out, are needing to change careers, or have reached retirement age and need or just want to find something different to do for either financial need or diversion. It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks.
