I work with teens from ages 13 and up. Having raised 4 children my self I am very comfortable and hopefully knowledgable working with teens. Teenage years can be a very turbulant time for both the theens and their families. Working with teens I have whitnessed the anxiety and stress they often feel around such areas as peer pressure, friendships gone wrong, feeling lonely, unsafe sex ect. These teens , despite having loving and caring parents often tell no one about how they feel. The great benifit in counselling is that they "get it out" in a non destructive way..often avoiding overwhelming feelings that can lead to very impulsive and distructive acts.
