I highly specialize in working with young children. I have extensive training and knowledge in early childhood development and use a combination of play therapy and EMDR when treating children. I believe trust is the most important component of therapy with kids and put a large emphasis on building the therapeutic relationship in the beginning. This allows kids to feel safe and benefit long term from the therapy process.

Children under 6 years of age are not yet developmentally ready to communicate their thoughts and feelings in words.
