Here at Healing Life Institute we are Board Certified Christian Counselors. We have seen time and again that incorporating our faith into our counseling has dramatic results. We use a faith based approach in conjunction with research backed tools and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy). We have many years of experience and meet our clients where they are using a multi-faceted approach tailored to each individual's needs.

I am a Christian first and foremost in life. God is my most important priority. Did you know that Jesus is listed as a counselor in the Bible? God called me to this field so He loves the helping professions. Now He is the greatest Helper of all. I certainly know that most people do not come to me for Christian counseling but when people are of the same faith, I think they feel a certain level of comfort with someone who shares their faith. I am in business and I do not share anything about God with someone that does not want to hear about faith. It is my prayer that God's wisdom and love is manifested in each session even if Christian counseling never comes up.

I myself have overcome many difficult obstacles in my life and God has been my saving GRACE every time. Be encouraged, If He has done it for you before, know that He will do it again. Don't lose Hope. Sometimes we have to go through seasons of isolation/separation so that we can hear more from Him free from distractions as He renews our mind, spirit and helps us heal.
