My goal is to help you navigate whatever challenges you may be experiencing, either individually or as a couple, in a way that strengthens your faith and reminds you of the purpose God has for your life. While it can be incredibly hard to walk as a Christian in the world today, it is my belief that God will make a way.

I received both my masters and doctoral degrees, along with related training, at Rosemead School of Psychology, one of the leading schools in the country focused on the integration of Christian faith and understanding of human nature with clinical counseling. Our faith can be an important, even central part of our lives. For many people having a therapeutic relationship where this part of themselves can be explored and where they can be open about their faith and relationship with God is hugely important. I understand this importance and so I provide an open, understanding space for addressing challenges, fears, and fostering personal and spiritual growth in a Christian context.

Personally, my faith seems to be the only thing in my life that makes sense. However, our faith can be the source of strength that we need to face and overcome most of life’s challenges. I meet with people of different faiths and explore with them how their faith gives them the courage and motivation to overcome their biggest problem. It is difficult to separate faith from everyday life, so why not use faith to live life to the fullest? We can make this journey together.

Both of my parents were ministers when I was growing up. Can I say that I am a "hard-core Christian"? No. But what I can say is that I am familiar with the bible, believe in it's teachings, and can associate the bible with many other religious texts. Yes, it is true we carry God with us, but we also need to carry a developed Self in order to have the curiosity and discipline to carry out what we believe to be God's wishes. With a stronger Self we also can differentiate our own wishes and needs. We can identify and delineate one feeling from the other. This is vital as our feelings serve as emissaries of our needs. To be a "good Christian" or a "good Jew, you must first understand what it takes to make an even better YOU. That is where I enter the picture.
