I am a Christian, and I follow Christian principles. I pray for my clients and my work (as I do about everything in my life). I graduated from a seminary, was married to a minister and was a missionary. I know the Bible well and continue to find psychological teachings in the Bible.
I know a lot about how to help Christians incorporate their Biblical beliefs into their daily lives.
My work is clinical. I will not read the Bible to clients and will pray only with clients who would like for me to pray with them. But I pray before, during & after sessions.

We do not assume that every client wants to address spirituality in his or her sessions, and during the first session we work with the client to create a plan to best meet his or her specific needs. Respect is a core value at GROW, and regardless of the client’s politics, worldview, or faith, we seek to meet them where they are and provide resources that will help them reach their individual goals.
