Life can present us with challenges that can feel overwhelming at times. Sometimes it might even push us to question our faith or our spirituality. You don't have to handle these difficult issues alone. Talking to someone about the pressures you are feeling in life, and speaking truthfully about how they impact your spirituality or faith can helpful in alleviating some of the burden you may feel. If you are struggling in your life and would like to talk with someone openly, I would be honored to sit down with you.

I am a follower of Christ and am dedicated to living like Jesus lived. Because of my Christian faith, I believe the Spirit of Christ is part of each session that I conduct with my clients. I attended a private Christian institution as an undergraduate and gained a biblical foundation in classes I took during that time. In addition, I began teaching Sunday School classes at age fourteen and led youth group sessions for over twenty years. My graduate degree is an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and the theoretical models I use in counseling align with my Christian faith.

Throughout both my personal and professional experiences, I have discovered a person's faith to be greatly empowering in working towards their goals. Having been involved in a variety of Christian ministries over the years, I welcome the invitation from my clients to explore their faith in session. For those who have requested this exploration, I have observed a greater freedom and renewed sense of purpose as they go through the therapy process.
