Is a Christian Counseling perspective important to you in therapy? As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

I attended a graduate school of psychology (Rosemead Graduate School within Biola University) with a Christian world view for the express purpose of providing my clients the very best therapy within a distinctively Christian world view. This passion has never faded. I am so very fortunate to be able to work with people in a way that strengthens their faith, while providing practical tools for living. God is our resource and as such, our relationship with Him is constantly brought into the counseling process. Sometimes people feel so bad for so long that they begin to doubt that God is still real or at least in the game with them. Emotional healing restores our trust and closeness to Him.

Dr. Keller practices counseling and psychotherapy from a non denominational perspective. He has an interest in Sprituality, Health and Mental Health and has lectured to physicians and mental health professionals on this topic.. Dr. Keller frequently collaborates with clergy of all religions and encourages patients to explore the spiritual dimensions of their lives. When appropriate, Dr. Keller is open to ivestigating with patients how prayer, meditation, and other contemplative practices may supplement their treatment.
