I help my clients draw closer to Jesus Christ. Christian counseling is the application of God’s truth to the client’s life resulting in spiritual and emotional maturity. To heal, clients need both truth and grace; we attempt to communicate God’s truth (confronting) in love (supporting). To heal, clients need to hear the truth and experience the truth; we attempt to communicate God’s truth (teaching) and be God’s truth (loving). I believe the Gospel message is the number one foundational truth, having the most power to bring true change to a client.

I am a believer that God does amazing things for those who seek Him. It's an unbelievable presence and process which changes lives. I do not identify with any particular religion, but if you are looking for an imperfect follower of Christ, you've come to the right place. While I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that all answers can be found in it, I don't typically use scripture in my sessions as I am a counselor, not a pastor. For clients who are seeking this connection with their therapist, it can greatly enrich the counseling process.
