Through the scriptures God has offered us wisdom and guidance on how to live fulfilling and abundant lives. The reality however, is this is not easy. Together we will work to approach life from a Biblical perspective and apply the message of Christ to life's complications. In my approach to Christian counselling, Christ is the foundation from which we will build new perspectives, insight and meaning to accomplish your goal.

I provide psychotherapy, counselling, and mental health services that are grounded in my academic and experiential training. However, the foundation of my work is grounded in my faith. I firmly believe in a grand power/God that helps human beings to work for the healthy betterment of theirselves and of others. The main source of energy that drives us towards this betterment is love, compassion, and understanding. In faith based counselling and psychotherapy, I will help you to explore your own faith and spirituality and use these in supporting the resolution of resentful feelings, trauma, and other harmful experiences.

Emotionally focused therapy closely parallels the Christian faith in how it understands human personhood and connection. I am trained through a biblical lens and comfortable including faith in the work we will do. During our sessions I take an engaged and active role in the process, focused on helping you to identify the areas where you may be stuck and working with you to make changes aligned with your goals and faith.
