Depression is oftentimes described as an empty state that can feel so disabling to individuals experiencing it. Without working through it, it diminishes quality of life, relationships with others, productivity in work and important life roles, energy, etc. Using a combined Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness approach, I work with clients to help them to work through negative thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that feed depression, find the strength to make desired changes in their life, and ultimately feel more hopeful, empowered, and confident in their ability to be able to manage life stressors and challenges they may face.
