Recovery from an eating disorder can be a very difficult and frustrating process. I have a passion for helping clients to learn ways to live a life free of disordered eating, eating disorders and fixation on food and body. I use a combination of cognitive behavior therapy, mind/body practices, development of healthy rituals to replace eating disorder rituals, the use of group therapy when appropriate, working with the emotional quality of food, developing mindfulness techniques to gain greater control over disordered eating impulses.
