We use the most innovative approaches to treatment: CBT, IBSR, EMDR, EMDR-IBSR, Cognitive Restructuring and Reprocessing, Somatic Restructuring and Reprocessing, Every session whether it be one hour or two is designed to leave you with techniques you can take home and use immediately! I believe that in every system, be it individuals or families, there is a healing force. Sometimes the system may be so overwhelmed from various issues that it feels broken. As a therapist working with families, I first work to help each member tap into this healing force—the strength within. Then I assist parents in identifying and meeting their needs—whether it be parenting skills, communication training, or anger management—so that they, in turn, can teach and care for their children. It is my goal to assist families in becoming self reliant and self nurturing systems with the necessary skills to reach their full potential.
