We are all travelers on a journey called Life. Sometimes we stumble or feel lost when we encounter obstacles and crossroads along the way. Each person has the opportunity to seek a path toward happiness, but many of us carry baggage that becomes excessively burdensome. Family counseling, or family therapy, aims to address psychological, behavioral, and emotional issues that cause family problems. Family members will work with a therapist or counselor to develop and maintain a healthy family dynamic. We will develop a treatment plan specific for your family, helping everyone to feel emotionally safe, while boundaries are respected, and that everyone understands their role in the family unit.

In family therapy, I often see families either together, or individually to begin our work. Understanding of family of origin often gives us a new perspective on our own family. I work with blended families as well to help navigate the issues many families deal with on a regular basis.
