Losing someone you love can be a life changing experience. Adjusting to the loss of a loved one requires time to process, feel and express the pain. At times this can be done alone, but if your grief is prolonged and keeping you from living a full life you may benefit from processing your grief with a professional counselor. Knowing the stages of grief can normalize your feelings and give you the courage to work through the stages in an effective manner that works for you. I work with you at a pace that is comfortable and teach thought defusion skills and deep relaxation to reduce stress, and depressive symptoms you may be feeling during your time of grief.
