I did mymasters thesis on how to work with homicide victim survivors and I have worked with many peoiple who have lost family members to violence. I have also worked with people who have lost spouses and children. IN my work with military I have worked with combat vets who have experienced traumatic losses. While therapy cannot totally remove the pain of grief, I have helped people to heal and function better as a result.

Life brings challenges and changes. Grief and loss are a necessary part, but they can be so difficult! I help people understand how "normal" their grief is, as well as to process their reactions, deal with practical matters, regroup with significant others, and rediscover their joy.
Grief can be painful, but the intensity of it needn't last forever, and you needn't continue to suffer without support.
