The person’s level of dependency on the departed can also cause complications. The grieving process often involves many difficult and complicated emotions. Yet joy, contentment, and humour do not have to be a lost memory. I work with you to help you recover from grief and loss and find your way back to feeling joyful again.

Grief is a complex emotion requiring a safe space in which to express the aspects of it that may feel uncomfortable and that often shift and change over time. The difficult thing about grief is often there are things left unexpressed. No one imagines that the conversation they have with a loved one will be the last time they talk. Loss can mean grieving the absence of a relationship that is different from what we had hoped. It can be the death or departure of someone, human or pet, who held an important place in our lives. It can also be the loss of an opportunity or the potential for happiness. As with all deep emotional responses, I provide a safe space to explore feelings and to mourn.

Feelings of grief and loss are a normal part of life! People often feel self-conscious about expressing there feelings to the people in their lives who may had either 'moved on' or who don't know how best to help. I provide a safe place for people to verbalize the feelings of grief and/or disorientation they may be experiencing following the loss of either of loved one or the loss of stability through changes in employment , moving, or other major life transitions.
