As a licensed psychologist since 1983, I have had many opportunities to treat and work with a wide range of people. Counseling, psychotherapy, and psychological assessment are fundamental elements of my work over the years. I have also trained and supervised many psychologists over the years and this has allowed me to learn from them as well. Call me if you want to discuss psychological services for yourself or a loved one.
Judith Moolten, Cognitive & Somatic Treatment
Cognitive Behavioral & IBSR Somatic Therapist, body memory retrieval/removal of physical emotional pain
20 Walnut Avenue , Wheeling, West Virginia 26003
Our Specialized Focus is Somatic Psychology working with couples, individuals and groups. With all populations we work on creating clear boundaries, working on unconscious motivators and we are always short term resolution focused. If more in depth specialized work is needed due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment issues then we use either our IBSR model for stress, trauma, anxiety, panic and uncontrollable actions, then what typically happens after an IBSR session is emotions can move to the surface and be ripe to be organized with our CBT approaches.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and work with individuals and couples with various life challenges. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach in therapy. Most of my clients experience some level of anxiety, depression, stress, or life transition problem. I seek to provide a warm and safe environment and collaboratively, we establish treatment goals in the first session. During our time together, my goal is to help you identify causes to your problems and effectively overcome them. My clients learn communication skills, coping skills, relaxation skills, problem-solving skills, and emotion-regulation skills.
