As a psychologist, I work from a client-centered approach and focus on client needs and utilize approaches that will result in desired change. My goal is to empower clients by teaching them skills and strategies that will allow them to have victory over their concerns and to have a meaningful existence. I teach clients to be proactive about their lives, self-sufficient and establish a healthy interdependence. It is my intention that clients leave therapy feeling confident to address their concerns because they have established a healthy mental and emotional frame of mind equipped with effective life tools to cope with challenges that one will face.

Taking this step towards seeking help is a courageous and kind choice. And I know how challenging this can be. I have engaged in my own journey to unpack and release unhelpful beliefs, limitations, and burdens that weren’t mine to carry. I changed my career path and became a psychologist because this work has been so transformative for me. It is my passion to help you on this journey. I am a pre-licensed counseling psychologist this means I have completed doctoral coursework and am working towards gaining licensure in my state. I received my degree from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. I have seven years of experience working with clients and am supervised by licensed psychologist Maya Weir.

As a psychologist I use an eclectic approach finding modalities of treatment that fit the unique characteristics of the client. These include life style, orientation, profession, family and career commitments etc. I also educate clients on the neurochemistry and how the brain develops and learns to respond to situations and environments. My task is to find the treatment modality and approach that fits the client and not to try to fit the client into a process that is not compatible with them.
