There are many attractions in and around Grand Prairie. The program involves numerous prevention initiatives, all of which aim to educate students and teachers about bullying, how to appropriately respond to bullying, and how to improve the overall school climate. The Teen Leadership program teaches responsibility, decision-making, and anger management skills. Current Initiatives

The Texas Mental Health Transformation Initiative is dedicated to improving access to local mental health services, as well as the efficiency with which local services are delivered in order to reduce the disparity in services, particularly for minority populations. A concerted effort to increase the mental health workforce has been undertaken in order to meet the demand for services.
