There are trials in every marriage, but one of the lowest points that can be experienced in a marriage, other than death of a spouse, may be the result of your other half battling drug addiction. It's likely the spouse who is not addicted feels helpless, hopeless, and angry when their spouse checks into a rehabilitation clinic. There is always the threat of relapse because recovery is never easy. In fact, it can continue over several years.

Young people these days refer to it as “Facebook Official”, where they take the next step in defining the relationship. For adults of all ages and stages the “Define the Relationship” conversation can be anxiety ridden and awkward. Determining when is the right time to move to the next level and what actually should the next level be in the romance can be a dreaded and difficult discussion for any couple.

There are only 24 hours in a day, and we have to choose how to use them. Often we feel stressed because there is not a balance between our responsibilities and what we enjoy. Our lives naturally fall out of balance from time to time, so we have to set time aside to assess how things are going, and what we might need to change to make sure our daily lives reflect what’s important to us.

Although jealousy between siblings is not uncommon, if you're the parent of a jealous older child you may feel clueless as to how to best manage the situation. You’ll probably receive your fair share of unsolicited advice from people who feel they know best, but keep in mind that each family is different and each child is unique in how they may deal with jealousy over a new baby brother or sister.
