Procrastination. It's one of those words that we kind of avoid talking about because we think that it's a "bad word" or that it only applies to those who are in certain periods in their lives. That being said, there are a lot of things that we can procrastinate on, and honestly, it doesn't just apply to work or school. We could totally avoid certain events in our lives, or we can push off conversations that we have to have with people that we love. For some of us, "putting things off" is in our blood and we try to do everything that we can in order to do so.

Core spiritual therapy entails learning to go within and communicate with the inner child. There are several parts to the inner child which are largely submerged in the unconscious. As adults we have gotten out of touch with the feelings and memories attendant with this special child part which carries the potential for healing and deep spirituality.

Working with our emotions goes beyond just asking, “what do you feel?” It’s about listening to our emotions, understanding what they are communicating to us and using that information to help us solve problems. The ability to tolerate and express emotion is not only connected to greater mental health, but to greater physical health as well.

Long-term happiness refers to the state in which a person starts finding satisfaction in ordinary things, as a result of the pleasant impact of some prior incident. However, the impact of any pleasant or unpleasant incident depends on the psychological state of a person. If the person is already depressed then he/she might envision the life in a different way than a person who is not going through any mental trauma. This does not mean that a depressed person cannot seek happiness from a pleasant incident, but for obvious reasons the level of happiness will be lesser than the person who is not depressed.
