Swinton Counseling provides the FREE Seminars for Stronger Relationships Series. These seminars are hosted the second Thursday of each month in the Swinton Counseling conference room for anyone that would like to attend.     • Work as a team with the other parent(s) in the child(ren)’s life - even if parents are no longer together
    • Use simple effective strategies to help kids follow the rules and be respectful

    • Evaluate their priorities

    • Apply proven strategies to get closer to their partners / spouses

    • Find out if mental health or addiction issues are present and impacting their relationships

    • Avoid being unhelpful or hurtful
    • Listen in ways that helps the struggling loved one process through their struggle
    • Help the struggling loved one take next steps
  • Keeping Your Spouse, In-Laws, and Parents Happy - December 11th: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
    • Deal with differing opinions and pressure from your spouse, in-laws, and parents
    • Keep all relationships healthy and in proper balance
    • Deal with family pressure during the holidays
