This group is for women who want to learn more about themselves, and their relationships with others. Members have a chance to discover how they think and why they react the way they do. This group will also address pressures unique to African American women, as well as harmful stereotypes that are often attributed to us. Process groups are a safe, confidential place to learn new information and help you change and feel better. We welcome women from all backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations. Benefits of group include: understanding why you do what you do, process issues unique to African American women, gain better control over your feelings and emotions, develop skills to balance family and work life, and reduce guilt related to self-care.
