The Daring Way™ Counseling and Groups

Show up. Be Seen Live Brave™

8 week Group

The Daring Way:™ Living Wholeheartedly
Based on the research of Brené Brown

The group focuses on identifying what is holding you back in your life and how to develop the skill set needed to live a more courageous and connected life. The material is based on the life work of Dr. Brené Brown in the area of shame and vulnerability. The Daring Way™ group is designed to help participants build resilience to shame, foster self-compassion as well as learn the key elements to living a wholehearted life.

“When we can let go of what other people think and own our story, we gain access to our worthiness—the feeling that we are enough just as we are and that we are worthy of love and belonging. When we spend a lifetime trying to distance ourselves from the parts of our lives that don’t fit with who we think we’re supposed to be, we stand outside of our story and hustle for our worthiness by constantly performing, perfecting, pleasing, and proving. Our sense of worthiness—that critically important piece that gives us access to love and belonging—lives inside of our story.”
Brené Brown

The group is interactive focusing on:
Developing a skill set to increase resiliency to shame, quiet your inner-critic, reduce your hustle for worthiness, embrace your imperfections, own your story and know you are enough
Building a practice of living wholeheartedly through cultivating courage, exercising compassion and nurturing connection in our lives.
