Life inevitably presents us with a wide array of emotions. While most of us embrace feeling happy, in love, or peaceful, we often resist what we label negative emotions, such as fear, anxiety, and grief.

We are born whole, but due to various life experiences, we forget this state of wholeness, or who we really are. We start thinking of ourselves as alone and alienated. We can learn to clear our emotions and become aware of our thought patterns so that we can reconnect to our pure essence and essential goodness.

The separation from our completeness occurs differently for each person. Some people disconnect early in life in response to inappropriate care from parents or caregivers. These people tend to carry their underlying grief in the tissues of the body and develop lifelong symptoms of depression.

Some people have symptoms of irritability, anxiety, detachment, and feeling emotionally numb, along with physical tension and difficulty sleeping. Then there are the dozens of difficult emotions we feel every day in response to living in a fast-paced and stressful culture.

Here’s an overview of this workshop:

What stories do you tell yourself about yourself?
What would it feel like to release yourself from your thoughts and feelings about yourself and allow yourself to feel free?
We will turn toward your deepest experience of yourself, and listen to your intuitive wisdom.
This is a chance to connect deeply with yourself, connect & share with others, in a warm & nurturing environment.

Deepen to your connection to your body, your mind and your spirit.

We will practice embodied mindfulness, breathwork, and connect deeply to your body with loving awareness.

In movement, we will practice poses & their emotional archetypes as a means of utilizing yoga as a healing tool.

In stillness, we will practice noticing our inner experiences without reaction to give greater freedom to being carried away by our thoughts & feelings.

Revive your connection to yourself and allow a new experience to arise.

You will have opportunities to:

•Deeply connect to yourself in a supportive environment
•Move your body, breathe, stretch and meditate
•Write in your journal
•Practice expressive arts
•Experience embodied joy
•Break free of habits & patterns
•Unhook from time, expectation, and anything
other than being fully present with the moment
•Let go of how it ‘should’ be and be with what is
•Practice moving away from thoughts of the past & the future and focus on your breath in the here & now
•Practice self-acceptance
