Keystone Child and Family Therapy offers specialized counseling in play therapy for children ages 2-18. Play therapy is a child-centered approach to counseling based on developmental principles, allowing a child to engage in the counselling process in their most natural form of communication: play. Play therapy is an effective form of therapy for a variety of issues including: behavioral issues, social-emotional issues, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, developmental concerns, autism, ADHD, transitional issues, divorce and separation, attachment concerns, adoption, etc. Parents are considered important partners in the process and so family therapy is also used in combination with play therapy.

In my clinical practice, I listen and I’m warm and non-critical of my clients of all ages, children, youth and adults. I'm more conscientious and attentive to the way I ask questions. Children learn from adults, especially from parents. Thus, I teach parents healthy and effective parenting styles for children, preschoolers, teenagers and youth. Attending my counseling is beneficial--as I use real life examples in teaching parenting skills.
