Faith and spirituality can provide comfort and meaning to those guided by their beliefs. I was raised in a Christian household myself so I have an appreciation for the values instilled by religion, the importance of tradition, and the strength of community. My approach to counseling is humanistic and welcoming of all spiritualities. Though I do not incorporate any specific pastoral counsel, I encourage my spiritual clients to draw on their beliefs during the counseling process.

Trusting and sharing with another person the deepest, most vulnerable areas of our lives can be difficult. When that person is a Christian therapist, who believes that the Holy Spirit is guiding the therapy session, the experience can be more comfortable and re-assuring. Individuals can be assured that my strong Christian faith, Biblical knowledge and values mixed with my knowledge, experience and the scientifically proven methods of psychology I use, will deliver the trust, peace and effective results that the individual is seeking.
