Every season, the city of Cambridge, Ontario offers a wide variety of entertaining programs and activities to its residents. Residents both young and old can easily register online, by phone, fax or mail to participate in these exciting events. For youths, a skateboarding class is offered called Sk8 Cambridge. During spring and summer break, children and teens can improve their balance, coordination and skateboarding abilities through this unique program. Senior residents also have a number of health-improving programs, such as Aquafit and the Baby Fat Boot Camp.1 Those with Arthritis can benefit form a number of pool and land activities geared towards improving life with this health condition. New moms can explore their creative sides with their new baby at the Moms, Babies & Clay program. Here, participants enjoy a causal afternoon behind a pottery wheel while the instructor helps with childcare duties. Mental Health in Cambridge

Cambridge is a city with a population of 126,748 people and it is filled with so many different things to do. It's all here�there are great schools, safe communities, businesses, jobs, a strong economy, things to do, and so much more. This city is a great place to live and there are constant improvements being made; new buildings are being constructed and healthcare is now easily accessible to the public.

While all of this leads to a great community, there are still some problems that need to be solved. For example, there are many social and emotional disorders among the youth and young adults; while this problem effects all ages, it is most common among these age groups. Current Initiatives

The city is making constant progress�this is a city that knows it's priorities and is dedicated to making life better for everyone. Some of the current plans that are in progress for this city are revitalizing local areas that are in need of it, boosting the economy and creating more jobs, improving housing, and creating a safer, cleaner, and healthier environment throughout the entire area.3 The city is, in particular, is very environmentally conscious and aware of the impact it has�by �living green', they hope to all be living healthier and happier lifestyles in an area that will remain safe and clean for many years.4
