Marriage and Couples Mental Health in St. Catharines
The city of St. Catharine's in Ontario has a population of over 130,000 residents living within its borders and there is so much to do in this area. There are great restaurants, attractions, activities and clubs, and many other things that make life more interesting in this community. It has provided a great home for many families and there are so many opportunities that help developing families succeed. There have been problems, however, for some couples that have ultimately led to divorce.
Some of these problems have been stress, financial struggles, problems with children (learning disabilities, especially, have been a factor in this trend), and mental illness. There are several couple and marital therapists in the St. Catharine's area that can help local couples find the right path again. One example of an organization is the Community Addiction Service of Niagara, which can be especially helpful for couples who deal with alcoholism or other substance abuse. They can be contacted at 905-684-1183.2
