Therapy doesn't have to be complicated - or long! People heal quickly when they understand what is going on with them, why they are doing what they are doing and are given the tools and support they need to get back in control of their lives. I will help you do that.

Consistent with other Eastern Canadian cities, Windsor has a high concentration of European-decent residents.  There are approximately 220,000 people who reside in the city and around 320,000 in the surrounding metropolitan area. The prominent religion here is Roman Catholic, followed by Protestant, Orthodox Christian, Muslims and other Christians.  The climate is fairly standard for the mid west—humid with four distinct seasons.  The coldest month is January with an average temperature of approximately 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and the warmest month being July with an average temperature around 81 degrees Fahrenheit.  There is also a lot of snowfall during the wintertime, which is great for winter sports.  If life doesn't seem to reciprocate the good will you've always had towards others, and you are left feeling empty and alone, counselling can assist you. Your therapist is empathetic to your situation and with effective counseling and therapy, can introduce a new schema into your life, bringing greater joy and purpose. The city does, however, receive less snowfall than other cities around the Great Lakes. The summers see a lot of thunderstorms.  There have been a few tornadoes, but it is uncommon due to the location of the city along the river and lakes, as they act as a natural deterrent.

Because of the high industrial areas in the area, Windsor has a lot of pollution.  Unfortunately, a lot of the air pollution comes from Detroit, with the wind carrying the polluted air right to the city.   This has also resulted in a higher concentration of illnesses in the area, such as thyroid cancer and respiratory problems.  The city’s government has tried to implement free transit during smog advisory days, which helped to reduce the smog that is floating around the area.  The high humidity of the area also does not help to clear the air.  Despite this, the city has numerous parks for recreational activities. Managing your temperament can be difficult, but with Christian counselling you will receive spiritual, emotional, and cognitive therapy to bring greater insight and clarity into your circumstances. You therapist can be a vital component of effective recovery, and the changes begin with qualified counseling. Specifically, there are around 180 parks, 40 miles of trails, such as bike and walking trails.  The largest park in the city is Mac Park, which is always thriving with activity, due to the soccer fields, baseball fields, playground, area for biking and to large water slides.
