Hello! I'm Andrea and I’m so happy you’re here!

Are you living with anxiety, depression, stress? Struggling with self-acceptance? Challenged by recent or past traumas? The impacts are real and the compassionate and respectful support you need to heal and get back to life is available now. In such a fast-paced society, it's easy to feel like we can't keep up and balance it all. Many of my clients tell me that they feel exhausted trying to manage everything on their own and that they're struggling to cope with everyday life. If this sounds like you and you want to get "unstuck" and create a new version of yourself, you're in the right place.
In our work together, you can expect to understand the feelings in your body and how they impact your emotions like fear, grief, anger, and even joy. As we work through these blocks, we will set sustainable goals that fit your individual experience, which will include increasing self-compassion, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
Reaching out for support can be very humbling to which I always remind my clients of how courageous they are for doing so. Our work together will take many roads but only one path; the path to healing. By cultivating self-compassion, tapping into and understanding our emotions, we will work together to support you on your path to wellness and wholeness once again.
I use a compassionate and body-based approach (somatic experiencing) to help you heal and become the most authentic you.
What is Somatic Experiencing?
Excerpt taken from Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute

The Somatic Experiencing® (SE) method is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine, resulting from his multidisciplinary study of stress physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics, together with over 45 years of successful clinical application. The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. The SE approach offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states. Along with this, it facilitates the completion of self-protective motor responses and the release of thwarted survival energy bound in the body, thus addressing the root cause of trauma symptoms. This is approached by gently guiding clients to develop increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions.
