·       Lynnea sees individuals, groups, couples, and families in-person. She also runs workshops for kids and teens.

 


Education and Experience:

·       Lynnea has 5 years experience working with children, youth and families impacted by violence, as well as facilitating art and play based groups in Burnaby area schools. She works with children (3-12), youth, families, mothers and self-identified women.

·       Sessions may include non-directive and/or directive invitations into art making, play, mindfulness, movement and body sensation exploration. I offer office-based, nature-based and online sessions (please inquire).

·       Lynnea has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Winnipeg (2009), a Master’s Level Diploma in Art Therapy from Vancouver Art Therapy Institute (2012), and also holds a Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills from Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute (2018).

 


Hobbies:

·       In her spare time, Lynnea loves to experience nature, cycle, share meals with family and friends, and play with creativity.

Education and Experience:

·       Camillia recently completed a Master of Counselling Psychology in Art Therapy from Adler University in Vancouver, BC Canada.

·       Prior to this, Camillia had completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology Major

·       Camillia has experience as a counsellor with individuals and groups with addictions, trauma, grief, communications, adults and youth, mindfulness, equine-facilitated therapy, dream exploration, and more.

 


Hobbies:

·       "I currently engage in yoga, horseback riding, meditation, gardening, reading (philosophy and sci-fic), and art-making. I also enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with my dog!"

·       Cammi used to work as a blacksmith!

Education:

·       Janine holds a Bachelor in Arts and Sciences from the University of Lethbridge, a Master Degree from Carleton University (with a focus on art and psychology), and a professional certification in Art Therapy.

·       Janine is a registered clinical counsellor, registered art therapist, and a wellness crusader!

 


Background:

·       Janine struggled with depression and anxiety for many years. She uses this experience to help inform her work, and help others who are journeying through a similar struggle.

 


Hobbies:

·       In Janine's spare time, she enjoys tennis, yoga, mindful practice, running, art making, piano playing, and is currently learning conversational French.

4. Meet Linda!  Linda L., MA, BA, CCC (pending)

Education and Experience:

·       Having always been an advocator for mental health and well being, I hold a B.A. in Health Sciences from SFU and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy from Adler University.

·       I work with the narrative therapy model, transforming problem saturated stories into stories of hope and possibility.

·       I am also deeply rooted in existential therapy, encouraging others to develop self-awareness, connecting the body, mind and soul.

·       I have facilitated art therapy open studios and workshops on different campuses, and worked with seniors in the West and East end of Vancouver.

·       I am a counsellor for undergraduate students at VFS who come to me with various mental health challenges.

·       I work with children to adolescents with special needs and I am always reading and learning to be as competent as I can for my clients. 
 

Hobbies:

·       I am a huge animal lover, and currently traveling on my plant-based journey. In my downtime, I would probably be drinking tea lattes while adding details into my art pieces, or creating designs for my clothing brand.
