Aubrey brings a rare passion and enthusiasm to her own life and her work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She strives to live her life to the fullest and finds joy in helping her clients do the same.

Aubrey provides therapy to adults, adolescents, and children struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, body-image issues, anger and defiance, criminal behaviors, and loss of a parent or loved one. She works with couples and families who are experiencing communication issues, intimacy concerns, addiction, infidelity, or divorce. She works with adults who are seeking help with stress, depression, anxiety, end-of-life and grief issues, spiritual counseling, career coaching, and weight management.

Aubrey works with children, parents, and couples concerning issues such as communication, trauma, school, abandonment issues, parent-child interactions, conflict resolution, addictions, boundaries, and co-parenting styles. She understands that to make a lasting change in a child or adolescent's life, the family system must work as a whole through support and encouragement.

In previous years, Aubrey has helped and supported many, beginning with at-risk youth; involving them in many different programs promoting self-exploration and self-discovery. This work create a passion that drove Aubrey to pursue a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. That pursuit included significant work with adolescents and their families to overcome a wide variety of struggles. Adding to that, Aubrey has provided art therapy for teens, served individuals and families with psychoeducation, as well as provided play therapy and sand therapy to children. To top it off, Aubrey also has experience working with adults within the legal system, providing mental health and substance abuse counseling as well as psychoeducation regarding the impact that incarceration can have on the family system.

For all ages, Aubrey combines a number of evidence-based strategies to provide the highest-quality counseling experience. Her approach uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Existentialism. She is able to incorporate Art Therapy and Play Therapy in her work with children and adolescents. Aubrey enjoys working with all ages and is excited to begin working with you.

Call Aubrey today to schedule your free initial consultation.  If you feel things have become too serious for your efforts alone, it is time to seek help. Counseling is among the most powerful ways that you can influence and change your behavior and your interactions with those you love.
