I am purposefully passionate in providing quality psychotherapy from a professional perspective that positively    influences the treatment of psychological, emotional, and mental health issues.
To this end I am committed to helping each client identify their innate ability for personal growth and wholeness. I seek a variety of approaches to help you learn new skills and find more choices so as to manage life’s changes with a broader range of solutions for recognizing your strengths. I accept all people with respect and love regardless of age, sex, race, religion, ethnicity or socio-economic status. I thoughtfully affirm and carefully follow the morals of the Christian faith and the ethics of the professional governing boards.

I pursued post-graduate work at the University of South Florida in Counselor Education. While in Florida, I served as a social worker for the department of Health and Rehabilitative Services in Ft. Myers, counseling developmentally disabled adults. Additionally, I taught as a substitute at the graduate school level and interned under the direction of Dr. Lucy Mabery-Foster (Dallas Theological Seminary). I served as a adjunct professor of psychology at Collin College and lecturer at Southern Methodist University continuing education department. My gift and passion for competent professional counseling has also led me to build a thriving practice with offices in Frisco and Plano Texas and president/clinical director at Stonebriar Counseling Associates. As a counselor and seminar speaker at various professional associations, my writing includes publications such as Conflict Resolution for Children(Collin County Kids),Counseling Intervention with Couples, Relationship Networking In The Business World, Estate Planning, and Financial Planning for the Family(Colorado Springs Business Journal).
While it may not be easy to seek help from a mental health professional, it is hoped that through therapy you will change in the following ways: 1) gain greater insight into your situation and feelings, 2) develop expanded conceptualizations of your life, relationships, circumstances, and future; 3) move toward resolving your concerns; and, 4) forge a life plan that promotes greater realization of your human potential, happiness, and success. As your therapist, using my knowledge of human development and behavior, human change process, I will make observations about situations as well as suggestions for new ways to approach them. It will be important for you to explore your own feelings and thoughts and to try new approaches in order for change to occur. You may bring other family members to a therapy session if you feel it would be helpful or if recommended by your therapist. My wife and I are the proud parents of four children and seven grandchildren.
