Welcome. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I have served and supported vulnerable populations for over 10 years offering therapy, advocacy, education, assessment and support. I provided counselling in non-profit community agencies and now join the specialized team at Associated Counselling to focus on my passion for helping clients find physical, mental, emotional and relational health.

Whatever your struggle, there is hope. I can help if you:

  • feel sad, overwhelmed, disconnected, worried, irritable, ashamed, unmotivated or numb
  • have anxiety, depression, stress, grief, family conflict, substance use, or eating disorders
  • are experiencing racing or intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, dissociation or trouble sleeping
  • have witnessed or faced trauma, physical or sexual assault, domestic violence, or abuse
  • notice difficulties at home, school, work or in relationships
  •
The therapeutic alliance is the #1 predictor of counselling outcomes. I focus on authentically connecting with people in a process of growth through safety, self-awareness, acceptance, emotional health and courage. I offer you:
  • compassionate care with empathy and patience
  • a secure place to feel seen, heard, believed and encouraged
  • a collaborative environment based on respect and dignity
  • non-judgment and a safe space for self-discovery and expression
  •
If you've tried counselling once or a dozen times and it hasn't helped yet, let's do something different. I work to connect with you and tailor my approach to best fit your unique needs and concerns. I provide effective, holistic counselling for:
  • individuals, couples and families
  • children, youth & adults
  •
I empower clients to grow and heal using attachment-based theories integrating a mind, body and emotion focus. I incorporate my knowledge of the brain, body and development to help you understand what you're experiencing and why, and how to change. It is possible to feel better, know and love yourself, find peace, engage in healthy relationships, be successful, and thrive instead of just survive. Together we can enable your body and mind to heal, empower you to grow and improve, and promote your overall health and well-being.

    My education includes:
  • Master of Counselling with Distinction (Gonzaga University, 2018)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction (U of C, 2010)
  • Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation & Disability Studies with Distinction (U of C, 2010)
  •
    I have specialized knowledge in:
  • Trauma-Informed Training for Children & Families
  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Level 1 & 2
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Yoga for Emotional & Physical Trauma
  • Dissociation and Dissociative Disorders
