It can be difficult to ask for help! So many people go through life thinking simply that this is the way it is supposed to be. Others are afraid to invest in counseling, believing they "can deal with it themselves" or that "it will get better eventually." Why not let a trained professional help? Counseling is a journey of self-discovery and learning which gives one the tools to change and grow. Everyone deserves to have a life of fulfillment and meaning! This does not mean that every day will be perfect, but it does mean that you can find hope and joy despite all the challenges life can throw at you. Please give yourself the opportunity to find a new way to live.
I believe people have the answers they need, but also need the guidance to find these answers. The counseling process is about being present with each client as they walk the path of self-discovery.
I believe that each and every person can find meaning and fulfillment in life, regardless of the circumstances. People matter, and life is meant to be enjoyed.
I believe that no matter what happens, humans are resilient creatures, capable of working through the most difficult of issues.
I believe that we should help others in this journey of life. No one needs to walk alone. We are social creatures, and as such, we should do our best to help others.
I offer clients a safe environment where they can share openly about their struggles and issues in their life without fear of judgment or criticism. I will use patience and understanding in order to help them find the solutions to the problems they face. My goal is to aid you in getting the tools to cope with and manage your life without dragging you down. Everyone is different, and I will work towards finding the approach that works for you. I encourage my clients to be proactive in their treatment and welcome their input. I am always open to discussion regarding their treatment. This is your time, and we want to get the most out of it!
I am a positive person who wishes to help others learn to enjoy life, and I want to help people take responsibility for their journey. I have worn many hats in my lifetime and I learned to evolve with each one of them. I have experienced adversity myself, and I believe that everyone has the capability to change and grow. At times, it can be overwhelming; however, the old saying "it is darkest before the dawn" is true. Don't give up before the miracle happens!
I live in Frisco with my wonderful wife, and I enjoy reading, running, and watching all kinds of sports -- especially Texas Aggie football.
