Charlotte is incredibly passionate about working with children and has years of experience working with children and adults in multiple capacities. She worked with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as children with other processing and sensory disorders. She also worked with children who experienced childhood trauma along with their entire family system. Charlotte has a background in working with adults with substance use disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and eating disorders. She also has experience with young adults in life transitions, struggling with gender identity and sexuality, and battling addictions and eating disorders. Charlotte’s focus is to help her clients use their own unique strengths to become their best selves and write their own stories. She works with clients one on one to help build self-esteem and confidence in all aspects of life.
Charlotte has a Master of Science Degree and an Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida. Charlotte uses a strength-based and client-centered approach, implementing aspects of Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
