Jennie Chapman, MS, LMFT
If you are looking for a therapist with a direct and compassionate approach, I may be a good clinician for you. We will meet and decide if the fit works for you and start working on a plan together right away. Our goals will be to gain understanding, receive/teach psychoeducation, identify symptoms and strengths, and get you thinking and feeling in charge of your own. We will check in frequently to make sure we are on the right path. Eventually, we will say goodbye as you are ready to move forward in life with new perspectives and tools gained in therapy.

I specialize in anxiety, teenage separation anxiety, social anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, couples, and trauma-related disorders. I also work with survivors of domestic violence. I hold a certification in Child and Adult Trauma. I work with clients 13 and older unless in a family therapy setting.

I also see clients for couples therapy, especially when referred by an individual therapist.
Danielle Jenkins, PsyD
Dr. Danielle Jenkins, PsyD is a psychologist in Olympia and University Place, Washington, serving the South Puget Sound. She was awarded a Doctorate in Psychology from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon in 2012. As part of her education, she participated in several years of training at Oregon Health Sciences University and completed an American Psychological Association accredited internship at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Jenkins is passionate about providing high quality mental health services across the age continuum and offers a holistic, integrated approach to mental health care for individuals and families.
In her work with individuals and families, Dr. Jenkins employs interpersonal and cognitive behavioral counseling techniques. She enjoys helping those who struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family and relational conflicts, parenting stress, grief and loss, and maternal mental health issues. Using her experience in primary care psychology, she is skilled in helping clients manage the mental health aspects of chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Dr. Jenkins sees adults with a wide range of concerns and has specialized expertise in Maternal Mental Health Treatment (focusing on dealing with issues related to infertility, pregnancy and newborn loss, and prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression). Borrowing from her experience working in parent-child interactive preschools, as a postpartum doula, and as a nanny, she also offers therapy focusing on supporting families. A major aspect of Dr. Jenkins’ practice involves helping parents develop positive and practical parenting tools, educating parents about how to support their children with attention or behavior problems, and assisting families in navigating through challenging transitions.

We are proud to serve clients from the Puget Sound area including Tacoma, Federal Way, Fife, University Place, Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, Lakewood, Steilcoom, Dupont, Yelm, Centralia, Chehalis, and more. Offices in University Place and Olympia. Telehealth for residents of Washington State is also an option.
