Are you feeling overwhelmed, easily irritated, disillusioned, depressed, or highly emotional? Do you have a desire for more happiness, vitality or sense of purpose in your day to day life? Do you sometimes feel uncomfortable in your own skin?

These may be signs of psychological and physical patterns formed early in life in service of your unique coping and survival needs, or as the result of trauma and/or oppression. The good news is together we can work to create new integrated patterns that support you in embodying a fuller more creative and satisfying life. I'll guide you in reclaiming that which has been lost or forgotten, in reconnecting to your inner wisdom and knowing, and strengthening your ability to manifest the life you envision for yourself. I understand and I'm here to support you in your growth toward:
  • Reduced symptoms of anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation
  • Integrating and resolving
  • sexual trauma, developmental trauma, and PTSD
  • Developing and strengthening self-compassion and self-agency
  • Improved relationships
  • Alternative explorations of identity and sexuality
  • Processing grief and loss
  • Movement through creative blocks to a more enlivened self-expression

My Approach
I work collaboratively, intuitively, creatively, and with curiosity. Each session begins with inquiring what is present for you, designed to meet your explicitly stated goals within a noncritical, nonjudgmental, and honest framework. Healing takes more than insight and surface behavior change, therefore Somatic integration is the foundation of my work, along with a Relational and Psychodynamic approach.
Our difficult thoughts and emotions are evident in our bodies, such as a racing heart, a clenched jaw, or a constricted throat. The nervous system, the heart, and the gut all inform the brain, in fact the heart sends more information to the brain than the brain to the heart. When we only focus on changing thoughts we neglect the way the body organizes and healthy integration is unlikely to take place. This is why I work somatically, integrating mind and body, which ultimately are one.

Every session will reflect your unique needs. Together, in a safe, supportive, confidential space we'll unpack your goals, values, and vision of your future, along with how you embody where you are now. I'll guide you down a smoother path along your own journey toward deepened awareness, healing, growth, and transformation.
A little about me
It was through my own journey of healing that I came to understand and respect the value of Somatic Psychotherapy, an integrative and holistic approach which treats the whole the individual. It's really quite logical, our bodies and minds are interconnected, the whole being is always impacted. Working only with thoughts in isolation will not lead to integrative healing, and integrative healing is healing that lasts. This awareness led me to pursue an MA in Counseling Psychology with an in emphasis in Somatics.
I bring many other modalities into my work depending on your needs and preferences, including but not limited to Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Gestalt, Art Therapy (I have a BA in Fine Art), Dance Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I hold the highest positive intention for my clients and their growth.

I invite you to check out my blog at for a taste of how I work, and I welcome your reaching out for a free 15 min. phone consultation.
