Every therapist at Experience Change Counselling has earned a specialized Master’s of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy  and are Registered Clinical Counsellors with the BCACC, regulating body of counsellors for BC. Our team is especially designed to support you and your loved ones through each therapist's specific training and experience. Alisha Stobbe, MAMFT, RCC

Alisha has a passion for supporting individual women, teens and families. She started working as a family therapist with the city and  township of Langley and the RCMP, deepening her understanding of the importance of good family based therapy. She established a private practice in 2015 and has strategically expanded her team to meet the highest ethical and professional standard of counselling. In addition to counselling Alisha is a Clinical Supervisor for therapists and master’s level counselling students and provides workshop/in-service opportunities to other professionals and the community. Alisha has also been featured on several podcasts addressing contemporary issues including the sexual exploitation of minors online, #metoo, parenting in a technological world, and the dehumanisation of women and girls. Sarah Paulding, MAMFT, RCC

 Sarah sees children and teens and guides parents on how to support their children through difficult seasons. She is a trained Marriage and Family Therapist with specialised training to address issues through the various developmental stages. Sarah has a beautiful ability to connect and facilitate growth and regulation through play therapy techniques that are designed to address issues utilizing the parts of our children and teens that are already developed, while fostering increased growth in various brain regions and through integration of the brain and the body. Nancy DeVries, MAMFT, RCC

Nancy sees individuals, families and couples. Her training as a Marriage and Family therapist, as well as her specialised training to see couples and training and experience with middle years children (age 7-12 years) has given her a solid platform to provide an excellent counselling experience. Nancy is creative and compassionate with the ability to foster complex and layered conflicts and difficult relationships dynamics. Brian O’Neill, MAMFT, RCC

Brian is a trained Marriage and Family Therapist and has spent his career supporting teens and families. Brian has a unique ability to join with teenagers who are in difficult places. His years of experience with family difficulties makes Brian an excellent fit for teens and families who are feeling stuck and hopeless. Brian is also trained to see individuals and couples and provides clients with a place to discover new possibilities in dark places. His strong communication skills, deep capacity to hold difficult spaces and positively directional focus helps clients reach their goals for counselling. David has specialised training to see couples and families. On top of his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, he is finishing his Registered Marriage and Family Therapy (RMFT) designation as well as close to being certified as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist.  David has many years experience and has put countless hours into professional development and supervision to become one of the best therapists you can find.
