I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor with over thirty years of experience in the helping fields.  As a proud graduate of Auburn University. I continued my education at Georgia State University as well as ongoing study in the fields of Christian Counseling, Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy.

This counseling practice exists to be a servant of The Lord Jesus Christ and His Church by providing professional counseling services which explicitly integrate Christ, His Word and the community of faith for those who mourn, have broken hearts and life controlling issues. My belief is through the knowledge of an everlasting Father, Savior, Comforter and Friend we are able to find both the secure base and freedom to grow and thrive.  I also believe each of us is born with a promise which can only be discovered through relationship with a living God who is love incarnate and filled with grace. Clinically, I apply a mix of Cognitive Behavioral, Systems and Adlerian Theory.

Our life with Him does not promise a lack of pain and heartbreak but a sure knowledge He is with us.  I consider it an honor to journey with Jesus into life stories and strive to always honor the trust of others in ways which please Him.

I grew up in a tiny Southern town. My favorite pastimes were and are reading, especially biographies and music. I am a wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  My child, Ben, and two grandchildren, Kirkland and Cal, light up my life in ways I could never have imagined.  They teach me much about childlike love, trust and abundant life.  My very southern daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, talks about us all needing to be in "the bosom of our families" sometimes.  My family continues to grow closer as we do life together through life's joys and trials. For this, I am grateful.
