Hannah works with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families who are dealing with issues such as anxiety and depression, stress, trauma, abuse, parenting, obesity and weight loss, attachment issues, communication, and grief and loss.

 Hannah understands the individuality of each person and offers a diverse range of different counseling skills and techniques to fit each person's needs. Hannah provides aid to individuals struggling with substance abuse, alcoholism, behavioral addictions, and anger management. She offers counsel to couples navigating communication issues, conflict resolution, sexual intimacy issues, and financial issues. Family issues regarding divorce, custody transitions, and blended families are areas of expertise for Hannah. She also has experience with adolescents in the following areas; self-esteem and self-worth issues, anxiety, depression, school and family issues, effects of divorce, grief, blended families, and creative play therapy including the use of art. Hannah also spent some time working with children with Autism utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy.

Hannah offers years of experience and wisdom helping individuals, families, adolescents, and couples. Hannah Madsen holds a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Hannah believes in the significance of building a strong therapeutic relationship in order to create a unique healing process to fit the needs of each individual person. Hannah believes that each client deserves a tailored, individualized approach, which is why she uses an eclectic approach including several theories such as narrative therapy, somatic techniques, solution-focused therapy, and attachment based therapy.
