I believe counseling is
a collaborative process based on honesty, respect, and empowerment in which we
work together toward the change you desire. I also believe in authenticity,
flexibility, and meeting you where you are.
Specific areas of clinical experience include anxiety disorders, phobias,
trauma and PTSD, issues related to dysfunctional family systems, family of
origin issues, and victims of domestic violence and abuse. Everyone's story
matters. Let's explore your story so you can have the growth and healing you
deserve.
I have an eclectic approach to counseling and use cognitive behavioral therapy,
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), emotionally focused therapy, Gottman
Method Couples Therapy, schema therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance
and commitment therapy, and written exposure therapy for trauma.
I am a military-informed clinician and trained in military specific culture and treatments that focus on the needs of the military population and military-connected families.
